Anniversary gifts have been a long term tradition which has been passed from generation to generation, each particular year named after the type of gift that is acceptable to celebrate the occasion. Marriage goes through many challenges through the years, and to be able to heave a sigh of relief and gratitude each time, couples love to celebrate their wedding anniversaries with special gatherings to make each year special.

Almost two years have passed since you both said "I do" and now your 2nd Wedding Anniversary is coming up, and as so many times before on occasions that etiquette requires the exchanging of gifts, you get stuck in a gift tunnel vision. An example is the spouse who buys flowers for every birthday, anniversary or holiday. Now don't get me wrong, flowers are great, and so is filet mignon but I don't want it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Get the point? Mix it up, put a little thought into it. It's not as hard as you might think and you might even have fun, your spouse will appreciate a gift that shows you put some thought and consideration into its purchase.

If you wish to make your dining time a very elegant-looking then what you need to do is to utilize some flowers. You can put it inside a flower vase and spray up the room with your favorite fragrance.

There is really no right or wrong time to send flowers to a loved one. Receiving flowers is always a welcome gesture and they can really make anyone feel happier. In Canada, however, we have certain traditions that people follow and we all seem to know when the best dates to send flowers.
